Our Journey of Empowerment and Support

Founded in 2013 by the Akinnawo family, in partnership with the CAC Blessed Land, a non-profit organization built on the principles of divine life and godly belief, the Akinnawo Initiative for Youths Employment, Empowerment, and Development Foundation (AIYEED) has steadfastly pursued its mission to uplift the less privileged, including motherless children, orphans, and the disabled across Nigeria.

Advocacy and Impact

From our humble beginnings, AIYEED has been a beacon of hope and support for those in need. We have reached out to over 500 motherless children, providing not just care but also a future through support for education. Our efforts have enabled over 300 youths from diverse states such as Abuja, Lagos, Ondo, Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, and Oyo to pursue tertiary education, setting them on paths to fulfilling careers and better lives.

Healthcare and Basic Needs

Understanding the crucial role of health and well-being in empowerment, we have provided essential healthcare services worth over ₦950,000 and sustainable access to clean drinking water by drilling two significant boreholes in remote areas of Ogun State and Oyo state, benefiting over 1,000 villagers.

Nutrition and Sustenance

Our commitment extends to nutrition and daily sustenance, where we have distributed over ₦20,000,000 worth of food stock and beverages, ensuring that families in dire situations receive the necessary support to thrive. This initiative supports not just individuals but entire communities, fostering better health and productivity.

Our Journey of Empowerment and Support

In our bid to break the cycle of poverty, AIYEED has invested over ₦15,500,000 in educational programs that have benefitted youths at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. We believe that education is the cornerstone of personal development and essential for societal progress.

Support for the Disabled and Incarcerated

Beyond the general populace, our outreach programs have also touched the lives of over 300 disabled individuals in Ibadan, providing them with monetary assistance, food, and healthcare. Recognizing the need for compassion and support within correctional facilities, we have extended our helping hand to over 25 inmates in Ibadan and the neighboring towns of Ibara & Oba, offering them food, clothing, and a connection to the outside world.

Funding and Support

Our achievements have been made possible through the generous contributions of our sponsors and partners, including Pst Samuel Adesola Akinnawo, CAC Blessed Land Assembly, Akinnawo Agricultural Farming Establishment, and numerous individual donors who share our vision. Together, we have raised over ₦42,950,000, a testament to the collective spirit of generosity and community service. Adjusting for the inflation rate since our inception in 2013, the estimated value of our total contributions amounts to over ₦102,950,000, illustrating the significant and growing impact of our collective efforts.

Moving Forward

AIYEED

As we look to the future, AIYEED is dedicated to expanding its reach and deepening its impact, driven by a commitment to empower and develop sustainable communities through targeted interventions and holistic support. Based on our 11-year case study and experiences, we have decided to narrow our focus to the youth, recognizing them as the fresh seeds that require nurturing. We understand that nourishing education, soft skills development, and opportunities for talent display are vital, akin to providing water for growing seeds. Furthermore, fostering entrepreneurship is essential, serving as the necessary 'snack' that energizes and sustains their growth and creativity. Following this refined focus, we were officially incorporated, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards creating structured and impactful programs for the youth. Join us on this journey of transformation and help us create a brighter future for many more across Nigeria.
